Role Summary

We are seeking experienced and student-focused Student Counsellors to join our Ghana branch. The successful candidates will provide professional guidance to prospective students, manage applications, and contribute to enrolment targets while maintaining high counselling and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective students on study-abroad options, including course selection, institutions, and destinations.
  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process: applications, documentation, offer follow-up, and visa support.
  • Convert leads into successful enrolments in line with assigned targets.
  • Maintain accurate student records and reports using CRM and internal systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and partner institutions.
  • Participate in outreach activities, events, and marketing initiatives as required.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, visa, and company policies.
  • Provide timely updates and feedback to students throughout the application journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field from reputable univeristies.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Student Counsellor or Admissions Officer (preferably within an international education or study-abroad industry, or experience in a customer service and sales-driven environment).
  • Strong knowledge of international admissions processes and visa requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Target-driven mindset with proven ability to meet enrolment goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft/Google productivity tools.
  • Experience working with UK, Canada, Europe, or other major study destinations is an advantage.

Compensation:

    • Monthly salary.
    • Performance-based bonuses ranging from USD $2,000 – $10,000, in addition to monthly pay.

Role Summary

The Branch Manager will have full responsibility for the growth, performance, and day-to-day operations of assigned branches. This role requires a seasoned people manager with strong commercial awareness, capable of leading multidisciplinary teams, meeting ambitious targets, and strengthening TGM Education’s market presence.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of managerial experience, preferably within the education, consulting, sales, or service-driven industry.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Leadership & Operations
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the assigned branch(es).
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.
  • Represent TGM Education professionally within the local market and with key stakeholders.
Business Growth & Target Achievement
  • Own branch revenue, enrolment, and conversion targets.
  • Develop and execute branch-level growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive performance.
Team Management & Performance
  • Lead, mentor, and manage Student Counselors, Business Development Officers, and support staff.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance expectations for all team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and corrective actions where required.
Sales, Counselling & Customer Experience
  • Ensure high standards in student counselling, lead management, and follow-up processes.
  • Support teams in closing high-value opportunities and resolving complex student cases.
  • Maintain strong customer satisfaction and referral rates.
Reporting & Accountability
  • Track branch performance metrics and submit regular reports to management.
  • Ensure accurate data reporting across admissions, sales, and finance touchpoints.
  • Enforce company policies, processes, and ethical standards.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Work closely with Marketing, Admissions, Finance, and HR teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and scalability.
  • Support company-wide initiatives and expansion efforts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field, and an MSc degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial or branch leadership role, preferably within education, consulting, sales, or a service-driven industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business targets.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven, and multi-location environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital collaboration tools.

Experience managing multi-cultural or geographically dispersed teams is an advantage.

Compensation:

    • Monthly salary.
    • Performance-based bonuses ranging from USD $4,000 – $16,000, in addition to monthly pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral networks to grow student enrolment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, agents, corporate partners, and other referral sources.
  • Represent the company at education fairs, outreach events, and marketing initiatives to generate leads.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand brand visibility and market share in the Port Harcourt region.
  • Collaborate with the counselling team to ensure smooth handover and conversion of generated leads.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and student recruitment opportunities within the region.
  • Maintain accurate records of partnerships, leads, and business development activities using CRM and internal systems.
  • Prepare periodic reports on business development performance and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or a related role (experience within the international education or study-abroad industry is an advantage).
