Teaching Excellence Framework Silver
Teesside University has been awarded a silver rating in the government’s new Teaching Excellence Framework. The new ratings – gold, silver and bronze – form part of the government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) which is the responsibility of the Department for Education to give students information on teaching quality within universities. It reflects our strategic approach to teaching excellence, our commitment to our students and our emphasis on providing a high-quality learning and student experience. In addition to Teesside’s silver award, the local further education colleges that deliver Teesside University courses have received either silver or gold awards for their teaching of both full and part-time students
Times Higher Education World University Rankings
Teesside University is ranked in the 801-1000 band of global universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020. These include almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries, standing as the largest and most diverse university rankings ever to date.
