Emmanuela Studying LLB at UEA

TESTIMONIAL

Hello, my name is Emmanuela Onyilofor, and I am an undergraduate student in my second year studying Law. I chose UEA because more than anything, I needed a place that I would feel comfortable and at home in, whilst studying a rigorous course like Law.

Academically, my time here has been very productive as I've learnt to think about legal and socio-legal issues independently and at the same time focus on the aspects of Law that interest me the most due to the flexible nature of the course. The learning experience here has a very one-on-one feel because the lecturers are always ready to walk us through anything we do not understand, along with the buddy system and advisor meetings that have been put in place for smooth learning.

At UEA there is someone to help with any difficulties at every step of the way. Apart from this, the social life at UEA is very exciting. Students have a wide range of over 150 clubs and societies to chose from and become a part of. So far I have been part of the International Students Society, Law Society, Dance Squad, African Caribbean Society, Creative Writing Society and several others. My experience here altogether has been fulfilling, laid back and exciting all at the same time.
