COURSE DESCRIPTION:

We will show you how to challenge the limitations of fashion as the manifestation of temporary consumer trends.

You will learn to create fashion designs in response to market forces and technical innovations, and explore experimental approaches to garment making and design.

We will give you a designated studio space in our award-winning Broadcasting Place building – home to many of our creative courses – and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other innovative thinkers in subjects like fine art, graphic design and architecture.

You will have the opportunity to attend fabric sourcing trips to London and we also invite guest speakers from the fashion industry to pass on their expertise. In addition, we will also provide you with access to brand new facilities including the latest machinery and cutting tables.
