This course aligns with the key themes of these subject areas and will provide you with the skills to solve computer programming problems in a range of industries.
You will develop an understanding of how computer systems work, the problems that can arise and the implications of what companies are developing. The course will enhance your teamworking and project management abilities, while honing your expertise in emerging technologies.
You will have the opportunity to undertake a paid placement after your second year. This placement (subject to availability) will allow you to develop your practical skills, giving you hands-on experience to add to your CV.
That hands-on experience will also be at the heart of your learning. We have strong contacts with industry and our teaching team will use their research and industrial experience to ensure the course is current and reflective of the latest trends in computer science engineering.
