COURSE DESCRIPTION

With an increasing need for businesses to ensure they operate within legal frameworks and regulations, there has never been a greater demand for specialists with a combined knowledge of business and law. Open doors to a range of career opportunities by developing a dynamic combination of practical business knowledge and legal expertise. You will examine core business principles including finance, communications, entrepreneurship and human resource management, as well as covering legal aspects such as copyright, commercial law, company law, intellectual property rights and media and entertainment law.

Our teaching team is made up of experienced business and legal professionals who have successful working relationships with many key employers in Leeds, such as Eversheds, DAC Beachcroft and Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC.

You will be encouraged to undertake a work placement, and with our strong links to industry, you’ll be able to gain access to a number of major employers within Leeds, the region’s centre for legal and financial services.

Leeds Law School also has a dedicated new building at the heart of our City Campus, with its own bespoke courtroom, giving you the opportunity to witness mock trials and mooting competitions.
